Open your eyes
If you are blind, it does not necessarily mean that you can’t see
I think it makes you see more in people; by seeing the pain and suffering in the voice of others
From life to sound
Blink
What about colours? Can you feel red?
You can hear a smile, taste tension and smell heartbreak
So we are all blind at times
I want to feel red with you, I can’t be red on my own
I can feel blue without you but not red
I can’t see properly without colour
I am not blind but I don’t see your colours
I can’t fathom the grey that you left me to look after
I am blind to your sight
Blink again; You missed me
Let’s forget about the shadows and the darkness-
strip back to the basics of black and white
Wrong- right, good-bad
When I see light, I see you
Right-right, good-good
The hues, the entire colour spectrum of joy gushes out onto the floors of my body; I’m red
I feel so red
dark and white
Red is you, red is us, red is gone
Close your eyes
I’m not blind, I just can’t see.
